This 500m² platform gathers all equipments enabling PIMM members to:

- develop materials and parts through LASER powder melting (DED, LBM);

- make connections by LASER welding;

- study laser/matter interaction in order to understand and optimise LASER processes;

- determine the thermo-physical properties of metallic materials at high temperature and under extreme conditions (pressure, gas atmosphere).

The platform consists of LASER stations dedicated to these activities and also of multi-purpose stations. This allows a great flexibility and helps meeting specific needs.
